Who is TADQ

TADQ (Technical Aid to the Disabled, QLD Inc) is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity that provides technical support for people with disabilities that has been operating for over 28 years.

TADQ
takes requests from therapists and individuals to adapt or modify existing items, or to fully create new ones. This project work is done by highly-skilled Technical Volunteers for the cost of project materials and associated project costs.

Recent TAD
Q projects include grocery winches, fold-down shower seats, hair-dryer stands, writing aids; tricycle modifications, extended easels, and tactile floor modules for children.  More Volunteers are needed!!!

TADQ
office is currently located in Newstead, Brisbane, and supports regional co-ordinators across the state.  Most volunteers work from their own homes or workshop or sheds, but we do have a small workshop at Newstead for volunteers who have "downsized" their work areas.

For more information about TADQ
and the type of projects our volunteers make,
you can read our Newsletter found on the NEWS page.
